One of the favourite colours in fashion for men that has stood the test of time is indigo. And its position was further solidified by the introduction of jeans. These denim pants became an instant favourite of men and indigo is the most beloved colour out of all. Even now, the two most bought colours when buying jeans are indigo and black. However, the indigo is preferred over black. The variety of designs available in indigo for men is huge. Here is how you can style the true indigo in the best way:
1.Roll the Sleeves
After denim pants were introduced, the denim shirts were not far away. When paired with a pair of jeans, they have a distinct persona which exudes boldness and confidence. The best way to wear the indigo denim shirt is to keep the top button unbuttoned; shirt tucked out, and rolled-up sleeves.
2. Dyed Jeans
To brighten the colour of the jeans, many prefer to dye with the indigo colour. The resultant colour, thus, is more vivid and bold. The indigo shade of the jeans does not have to necessarily match with that of the denim shirt. It is generally preferred to be contrasting. That is, if you are wearing a darker shade of denim shirts, then go light on jeans, and if you are wearing the darker shade of jeans, then go light on the shirt. The contrast is what makes it unique and special.
3.Buckled Belt
Denim belts have recently become popular too and many people are now buying it because it can be worn both for formal and casual events and it does not look inappropriate. You can either go for the traditional belts made with denim or the one with a buckle. The traditional one obviously has a more formal look attached to it. However, if the buckle of the belt is small, it is perfect to be worn with both formal and casual wears. Big buckles are generally discouraged if you do not wish to tuck in the shirt. Otherwise the shirt covers the buckle and it is not visible.
